English 101: Reminders from Class on Monday, November 23

Since we didn’t get to talking about the novel today, I gave you a short writing assignment.  You should write a short response (4-5 paragraphs) where you explain which character from “Turning the Tide” is the real monster.  You should use three specific examples from the novel to support your analysis.

Further, if you’re going to be gone on Wednesday, turn in the homework that’s due as well as the quiz (if you want an excused absence).

Don’t hesitate to email me if you have any questions.

You should have received your first three papers back from me; if you were absent or are missing some of the papers, stop by during office hours to pick them up.

Further, double-check Desire to Learn for your updated grades.  If anything looks amiss, let me know.

I’ve updated Desire to Learn with your grades.  Take a look at your grades for the semester, and please do let me know if you see anything amiss.  (At this point, you should have received a grade for paper 1 &2, quizzes 1-4, and homework 1 & 2.)

If you didn’t stop by to pick up your paper on Friday, stop by anytime during office hours to pick up your projects.
