During office hours this Monday (Nov. 3) and Wednesday (Nov. 5), I’ll be having writing conferences.  I’ll be on Meebo off and on.  Just wanted to keep you all updated.

Due to some scheduling conflicts, I won’t be holding anymore Tuesday or Thursday office hours this semester.  I’ll still be in my office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 to 11:30.  Naturally, if you need to chat and my M/W/F times aren’t convenient, email me so that we can schedule an appointment.

How do I feel about vampires?

A student left this question on Meebo, “How do you feel about vampires?”  The short answer is that vampires frighten more so than zombies because they’d be harder to deal with (do you have cloves of garlic, crucifixes, and holy water in your house?  No.  I thought so.)  I’ve read some of Anne Rice vampire chronicles; if you like gothic, New Orleans type stuff, then I recommend them.
